1Picture and description
From ⚙️ Management → 🖼 Customize you can set a representative picture, shown when someone uses the /organization command in a linked group. It works like a group avatar, but for the whole organization.
You can take it off whenever you like with 🗑 Remove image. From the same menu you also write the 📝 Description: whoever joins for the first time receives it in private, and every member can reread it at any time from ⚙️ Management → ℹ️ About us.
2Organization emoji
You can give your organization an emoji: it appears next to its name throughout the bot interface, and Telegram premium emojis (animated) are supported too.
The premium emoji is stored as a numeric ID (custom emoji ID) and re-rendered correctly in every message where the organization's name appears, animation included.
3Organization language
The organization has a language of its own: the 🌐 Organization language, which only the founder can change from ⚙️ Management → ⚙️ Settings. It's the language of everything Tavora publishes in the linked groups (proposal, task and vote cards, announcements) and of the private messages members receive from the organization (welcome, request outcomes, reminders, notices).
Menus, on the other hand, stay in each person's own language. When the organization is created, its language starts from the founder's, and you can already change it in the last step with 🌐 Change language.
4Other settings
From ⚙️ Management → ⚙️ Settings:
- 🧩 Features (founder only) — which features are active in the organization: 🌱 Essential, 🌿 Standard, 🌳 Full, or switch individual features on and off (🎛 Custom). Features you switch off disappear from everyone's menus, but the data stays: switch them back on and everything is as it was
- ✏️ Rename organization (founder only) — change the name at any time
- 🌍 Time zone — the organization's time zone, which governs dates, deadlines and reminders
- 📬 Weekly digest (founder only) — on Monday, in the organization's time zone, a summary in private: new members, completed tasks, closed proposals, service desk requests, upcoming events. It only covers active features, and a flat week sends nothing. (The notifications for join requests are handled instead with 🔔 Request notifications, in ⚙️ Management → 📬 Requests or right under the notice, and everyone decides for themselves.)
- 🌐 Organization language (founder only) — the language the organization uses with its members, in groups and in private (see previous step)
- 🎓 Redo the tutorial — replay the organization tutorial whenever you like: once you've completed or declined it, its row disappears from the organization's home and the tutorial stays here
- 🔁 Transfer ownership (founder only) — pick the new owner from the member list by tapping their number (or search by name or @username). They must accept. As soon as they do, you leave the organization: to come back you rejoin with the new invite link, as a plain member
- 🗑 Delete organization (founder only) — see next step: you have 10 days to change your mind
5Deleting the organization
Only the founder can delete the organization, from ⚙️ Management → ⚙️ Settings → 🗑 Delete organization. The confirmation lists what will happen and offers 📦 Download the data first, which leads to the member exports and the tasks PDF.
As soon as you confirm:
- members and admins leave immediately, and so do department managers and members; open tasks lose their assignee, except the founder's
- admins get a private message, and in every linked group the bot writes that it no longer works there for the organization
- linked groups become free: another organization can link them, and joining or leaving those groups no longer affects the deleted organization
- scheduled announcements don't go out while it's deleted; votes and events stop
For 10 days you'll find it in My organizations: tap it to restore it. Contents and settings come back, but of the people only the founder does: everyone else rejoins with the new invite link, as plain members. Groups nobody relinked in the meantime come back too. After 10 days, the organization and all its data are deleted permanently and automatically: there's no recovery afterwards.
